Gerrit Kruyswijk
With over three decades of experience across mining, agriculture, automotive, and renewable energy, Gerrit excels in project development, investment, and operational efficiency. Having managed initiatives ranging from millions to R10 billion, he specializes in risk management, financing, and leading multidisciplinary teams. His key achievements include optimizing renewable energy procurement, chairing boards, and driving investments in projects exceeding R300 billion. A co-founder of SAPVIA, he has held roles at Nedbank, Iscor, and IDC. As a qualified engineer, Gerrit combines technical, financial, and governance expertise to deliver impactful results.
Justus Visagie
A veteran motoring writer with a passion for electric vehicles, Justus Visagie has been documenting South Africa’s EV evolution since its pioneering days. His journey from curiosity to conviction began with electric two-wheelers and early enthusiast conversions, solidifying after experiencing the Tesla Model S and Nissan LEAF in 2013. Based in Hermanus, Justus combines technical expertise with storytelling to make electric mobility accessible and appealing to all South Africans. As a dedicated EV advocate, he’s focused on dispelling myths and accelerating South Africa’s transition to sustainable transportation through EVNow and innovative community initiatives like “EVs on Display.”

Charl and Anneke Ritter form the talented design team behind The Rocket Scientists. With nearly three decades of experience in the field, they have collaborated on renowned brands such as SABC 1, 2, and 3, the Shoprite Checkers Woman of the Year Award, the University of Pretoria, and many others. Their expertise encompasses a diverse range of products, projects, and brands, covering everything from concept origination and project management to final implementation.
