Entry formats

  1. Video – 3 minutes or shorter
  2. Slide show (PowerPoint or similar software) – 10 slides
  3. Infographic – 2 pages
  4. Essay – 2 pages

Who could enter?

  • Learners from Overstrand schools and home-schoolers.
  • Learners could enter individually or in teams of two.
  • All participating learners had to register their entry with their respective teachers.
  • Entry was free.

The judging process

First round of judging

  • The top 10 finalists were identified by fellow learners at each entrant’s school.


Second round of judging

  • The top 10 finalists from each school presented their entries to the judging panel who selected the overall winner of the EVNow Learner Challenge.
